Capital One Cup: Third Round Draw

Capital-One-Cup-1

  • Tottenham will host Arsenal in the third round of the Capital One Cup. It will be the third time in 10 years the north London rivals will meet in the competition. Arsenal won the two-legged semi-final in 2007, with Spurs gaining revenge at the same stage in 2008 beating Arsenal 5-1 on aggregate and eventually winning the competition that year. The two teams last met in the competition in 2011, when Arsenal won 4-1 after extra time in the third round, on their way to the final, where they lost to 2-1 to Birmingham.
