AC Milan defeated Udinese 3-2 on a night when Mario Balotelli scored his first goal for Milan since returning to the club.
It was Balotelli’s first start since rejoining on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
The Italy forward score a stunning freekick in the 5th minute, with Giacomo Bonaventura doubled Milan’s lead five minutes later.
Then Cristian Zapata headed in a corner past Karnezis for a 3-0 half-time lead.
Emmanuel Badu and Duvan Zapata reduced the deficit for Udinese.
Udinese ended the game with 10 men as Milan held on for their second straight win and condemned a Udinese side that opened the season with a victory at Juventus to a fourth straight defeat.
