Manchester City qualified for the Capital One Cup semifinals with a 4-1 win over Hull City, courtesy of goals from Wilfried Bony, Kelechi Iheanacho and a Kevin de Bruyne’s brace.
Andrew Robertson scored a consolation goal for the the Tigers.
Everton also made it through with a 2-0 win over Middlesbrough thanks to goals from Gerard Deulofeu and Romelu Lukaku.
Stoke were 2-0 winners at home to Sheffield Wednesday. Ibrahim Afellay and Phil Bardsley secured the victory.
This is Stoke’s first League Cup semifinal appearance since 1971-72, the year they raised the trophy.
In today’s fixture, Southampton will host Liverpool for the final Semi-final spot.
