Bordeaux 0 – 3 Paris Saint Germain
Paris St-Germain moved level on points with Ligue 1 leaders Monaco as two goals from Edinson Cavani helped them to a 3-0 win in Bordeaux.
Two superb goals from Edinson Cavani either side of Angel Di Maria’s cool finish secured second-placed PSG’s victory.
Cavani’s first came in only the sixth minute when, as a headed clearance fell to his feet, he powerfully volleyed from the edge of the area and into the back of the net beyond goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso.
Angel di Maria then slotted in a second before crossing for Cavani to convert after the break.
Cavani’s second, in the 47th minute, was equally impressive.
PSG have won the French league for the past four years.
While, Monaco last won the title in 2000 and hosts Metz on Saturday evening and now lead by goal difference.
