Manchester United secured their progression into the last eight of the FA Cup as they won 2-1 against Blackburn Rovers.

Danny Graham gave the home side a shock first-half lead as he converted Marvin Emnes’ through ball with power.

However, Marcus Rashford ensured that the lead was short-lived as he latched on to Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s through ball to round the ‘keeper and score.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic came off the bench to score what proved to be the winner in the second half, combining with Paul Pogba’s ball in behind.

Blackburn had a late goal ruled out for offside after Sergio Romero had flapped at three efforts from Rovers.

Tottenham booked their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup as Harry Kane scored a hat-trick in a 3-0 win at Fulham on Sunday.

Christian Eriksen set up the first two for the England striker, with Dele Alli providing a neat pass for the third to wrap up a convincing and well-deserved triumph at Craven Cottage.

The result was a welcome one for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who named a strong line-up having headed into the match on the back of two straight losses.
