Ligue 1 result  – Lyon draw  st Bordeaux

Bordeaux 1 – 1 Lyon

Lyon kept their four point gap ahead of Bordeaux in Ligue 1 with a point from a highly controversial game on Friday night.

Valentin Vada netted the opening goal after 16 minutes, which was given despite him being a yard offside, before Emanuel Mammana equalised with a little over 10 minutes to play, picking the perfect time to record his first goal for the French club.

Manchester United flop Memphis Depay came close for Lyon, with a powerful first-half effort being well saved from point blank range by home keeper Cedric Carrasso.

Both Bordeaux boss Jocelyn Gourvennec and his Lyon counterpart Bruno Genesio felt a draw was a fair result after the sides drew 1-1 at the Matmut Atlantique.
