  • Monaco star Bernado Silva reportedly arrived in Manchester on Thursday night, with City said to be favourites to sign the playmaker. Silva, 22, has arrived in Manchester for a medical and to complete talks over a move to the Etihad Stadium in a deal that could be worth around £65 million.
  • City are also set to make a move for his Monaco teammate Benjamin Mendy.
  • Manchester City announced on Thursday that a string of players will leave the club this summer, with Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy, Jesus Navas, and Willy Caballero all moving on.
  • The foursome join Pablo Zabaleta as players with expiring contracts to leave the club this month. Yaya Toure and Tosin Adarabioyo are also out of contract, and manager Pep Guardiola has said a decision on their futures will be revealed soon.

    • Angel Di Maria could be moving to Inter Milan in the summer. The Nerazzurri are offering Paris Saint-Germain €50m, that’s more than Juventus. Manchester  United transfer target Ivan Perisic could move in the opposite direction.
    • Napoli are ready to do battle with Paris Saint-Germain for Manchester City full-back Gael Clichy, who is available on a free.
    • Napoli have also targeted Bayern Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno as a replacement for current number one Pepe Reina.
    • Jerome Boateng has told SportBild he plans to remain at Bayern Munich next season, amid reports he wanted assurances about his future at the club.
    • Eliaquim Mangala will not be part of Manchester City’s plans next season. On loan at Valencia, the French defender’s entourage has been told by Txiki Begiristain that he doesn’t fit into Pep Guardiola’s plans. He will cost around €20m, which would rule out a permanent move to Valencia.
    • Arsenal striker Lucas Pérez will hold talks with Arsenal this summersays his agent. The player is unhappy with the lack of minutes he received and his priority would be to return to Deportivo if the situation doesn’t look like improving.

      • Chelsea transfer target Franck Kessie is close to signing for AC Milan, the clubs have already had talks and a medical is on the horizon.
      • Milan are also interested in Lyon’s Corentin Tolisso, but he looks set to move to Inter or Juventus.
      • Nice are unclear whether or not Mario Balotelliwill sign an extension on his initial one-year deal and it has emerged that Marseille could be an option for the former Liverpool striker. They are looking for a replacement for Bafetimbi Gomis and the Italian striker has paid tribute to the OM fans in the past.
      • An agent representing Real Madrid’s new signing Vinicius Junior says Barcelona offered a better financial package to the player, but the youngster was more attracted by the football project outlined by Los Blancos.
      • Madrid announced this week that they had signed Vinicius, 16, from Flamengo, with the reported €45 million transfer effective in July 2018 when the Brazil youth international turns 18.
      • Reports from Italy suggest that former Leeds United patron Massimo Cellino is considering a takeover move for Serie A side Genoa.
