  • ​Inter want to complete an ambitious double swoop for Real Madrid duo Pepe and James Rodriguez.

    • But, James Rodriguez wants to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United instead of Inter, but the two sides are unable to reach an agreement on a fee,  Diariogol reports.
    • Manchester City have sealed a move for Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva, making the Portugal midfielder the club’s first addition of the summer. The 22-year-old’s transfer was announced on Thursday, and it will be finalised when the window opens on July 1. City confirmed that Silva will sign a five-year deal.
    • City will continue their summer spending spree with moves for England and Tottenham full-back Kyle Walker, 26, and Monaco and France defender Benjamin Mendy, 22.
    • City boss Pep Guardiola has upset his old club Barcelona by targeting three of the Spanish club’s academy players- Pablo Moreno, Nico Gonzalez and Ansu Fati.
    • Meanwhile, Yaya Toure is close to signing a new one-year deal with Manchester City.
    • Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will sign a new two-year contract regardless of the result of Saturday’s FA Cup final.
    • Chelsea counterpart Antonio Conte, meanwhile, is set for a new £40m contract at Stamford Bridge plus a large transfer fund to add to his Premier League-winning squad.

        • Juventus have met with Angel Di Maria’s new agent Pablo Sabbag to discuss the potential transfer of the Paris Saint-Germain winger to the Bianconeri, with Inter Milan also interested. No decisive moves have been made yet, though.
        • Alvaro Morata has flown to Milan to seal a move to the Rossoneri, with the Spanish International striker set to be paid a salary of €7.5million a year at the San Siro.
        • German legend Ottmar Hitzfeld expects Borussia Dortmund to part ways with Thomas Tuchel this summer, revealing there is “no dialogue at all” between the manager and managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke.
        • Schalke are targeting Chelsea’s Bertrand Traore after the Burkina Faso forward spent a successful season on loan at Ajax, scoring 14 goals for the Amsterdam side over the course of the campaign.
        • Ahead of his final match in charge of Barcelona, Luis Enrique refused to rule out a return to the Catalan club in the future. He is expected to take a sabbatical year, but “never say never” on the 47-year-old one day sitting on the Camp Nou bench again.
        • Marseille have approached Rubin Kazan over a potential move for former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder Alex Song, although no firm offer has been made.

          • Watford midfielder Dion Pereira, 18, is wanted by West Ham and Newcastle.
          • Guillermo Varela has hit back at Eintracht Frankfurt after he was suspended and fined by the club for getting a tattoo against the coach’s wishes. 
          • He said: “I wonder what Real Madrid would have to do with Sergio Ramos. He gets tattooed every week. I can’t explain why I’ve been punished so hard.”
