League football continues across Europe this weekend, after the return of the Champions League and Europa League in mid week.

In England, the biggest match of the week takes us to Stamford Bridge, where Arsenal hope to take advantage of Chelsea’s poor run of form in the League this season, and also drawing strength from their Community Shield victory over Jose Mourinho’s men.

League leaders host 5th place West Ham, as they hope to continue their impressive 100 percent form.

Manchester United visit Southampton as they hope to bounce back after their Champions League upset.

In La Liga, Getafe defeated Malaga 1-0 on Friday night, with Stefan Scepovic grabbing the winning goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo hope to continue his impressive scoring form as Real Madrid host Granada.

Barcelona host Levante, while Valencia host Real Betis.

Early fixture in the Bundesliga saw Mainz defeat Hoffenheim 3-1, with Yunus Malli grabbing a hat trick, after Jonathan Schmid had earlier put the visitors ahead.

Dortmund host Leverkusen in the biggest game of the Bundesliga, while Bayern visit Darmstadt.

Napoli host Lazio in the Serie A star match of the week. The host will be beaming with confidence after their Europa league exploit saw them crush Club Brugge 5-0, while Lazio picked a point away at Dnipro.

In other matches, AC Milan hope to bounce back after their defeat to neighbours Inter in last weekend’s derby. Inter are away at Chievo, while AS Roma host Sassuolo. Champions Juventus are away at Genoa, and hope to return to winning ways after the champions league victory against Manchester City.

Rennes and Lille both shared the spoils, as they played 1-1 on Friday night. Paul-Georges Ntep scored for Rennes but missed a penalty, while Sofiane Boufal scored for Lille.

In the star match, Marseille host Lyon, while PSG are away at Reims.
