Paris Saint-Germain fought back from behind to preserve their unbeaten start to the season thanks to substitute Edinson Cavani’s late equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Reims.

Laurent Blanc’s side have now won four and drawn two of their opening six matches.

De Preville gave Reims the lead in the 83rd minute before Cavani equalized, scoring his sixth goal in four matches.

Jeff Louis’ stoppage-time goal clinched Caen a 2-1 victory over Montpellier at the Stade Michel d’Ornano and lifted them up to fourth place in the table.

Montpellier, without a league win this season, hauled themselves level through Jonas Martin’s 32nd-minute penalty after Ronny Rodelin’s first Ligue 1 goal since November 2013 had given Caen the lead.

Angers maintained their impressive start following promotion with a slender 1-0 home win against Troyes despite the dismissal of skipper Cheikh Ndoye.

Ndoye was sent off in the 32nd minute for a reckless challenge, but Angers stood firm to register their third league win of the season courtesy of Thomas Mangani’s 58th-minute penalty after Loosemy Karaboue had fouled Romain Thomas.

Guingamp secured back-to-back wins at the Stade Municipal with a 2-1 win against 10-man Gazelec Ajaccio, who had Issiaga Sylla sent off for two yellow-card offences.

Sloan Privat gave Guingamp a 22nd-minute lead and although the visitors hit back through Kader Mangane’s volley, Jimmy Briand acrobatically turned home the winner on the hour mark to secure his side maximum points.

Nice came back from behind to secure their first league win on the road this season with a 3-1 result at Bastia.

Gael Danic’s superb curling shot gave Bastia a 23rd-minute lead, but Nampalys Mendy equalised with a similar 25-yard effort and Valerie Germain gave Nice a half-time lead before Said Benrahma wrapped up the points in the closing stages.

Marseille’s 1-1 draw with Lyon was suspended for over 20 minutes on Sunday night after missiles were thrown onto the Stade Velodrome pitch

With the visitors leading 1-0 thanks to Alexandre Lacazette’s first-half penalty, referee Ruddy Buquet was forced to order both sets of players down the tunnel shortly after the hour mark as missiles began to rain down from a section of the crowd.

Romain Alessandrini was sent off for a 43rd-minute challenge on former OM midfielder Mathieu Valbuena.

Karim Rekik scored in the 68th minute to level the match for 10-man Marseille.

Monaco’s shaky start to the Ligue 1 season continued as Benjamin Moukandjo struck for Lorient to seal a 3-2 victory at Stade Louis II.

The principality club, now without a home win after three attempts, were up against it when Didier Ibrahim N’Dong and Benjamin Jeannot put Lorient into a two-goal lead inside 20 minutes.

Almamy Toure and Thomas Lemar dragged Monaco back into the game, but Moukandjo’s strike swung it in favour of Sylvain Ripoli’s men.

Substitute Enzo Crivelli salvaged a late point for Bordeaux against 10-man Toulouse in a 1-1 draw at the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux.

St Etienne moved to within a point of Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain thanks to a comfortable 2-0 win over Nantes.

Jonathan Bamba’s first goal for Les Verts set the hosts on their way, before Robert Beric wrapped up all three points when he gathered Vincent Pajot’s long ball before beating Riou.
